Pennsylvania’s 500 school districts claim that public cyber charter school tuition payments are a financial drain on their budgets; however, public cyber charter school tuition payments, on average, account for only 3% of school district spending.
Also, school districts collectively have amassed more than $13.2 billion in reserve funds, with 412 districts (82%) having 20% or more set aside in savings.
